Police Chief Deborah Black recognized and
thanked several key persons who were
responsible for the the Wall of Honor. Two
of those key people are Retired Officer Dan Kallberg
- Curator
Glendale Police Museum , and Det. Ryan
Winfield. Both men are dedicated to making
and keeping current and accurate.

Ryan had taken his father to the baseball hall of fame and thought that it would be great for our officers to have their wall.

he thought it was a great idea so he went to

Police Chief Deborah Black and she said yes.

The Glendale Citizens Academy Alumni donated $900.00 for us to do the wall.

dedication on Thursday. Captain White
retired in 1982. Sitting to his right is
retiree Detective Mike Manning.

tells us "The museum started in 2002 over at the FOP lodge and in 2009 Chief Conrad agreed to let me move into the lobby of the PD The Glendale Civic Pride Ambassador gave me $10,000.00 to use for the remake of the museum."
Dan
continues, "The idea
of the wall was from Detective Ryan Winfield. Last year he had taken his father to the baseball hall of fame and thought that it would be great for our officers to have their wall. So he talked to me and I thought it was a great idea so he went to the Chief and she said yes.

Stan Kobojek and Grace Kobojek find his name on one of
the five plaques with the names of retired
Glendale Police Officers. Stan retired from
the force in 1998 after thirty years of
service.

from the Glendale Police Department enjoyed
